Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honors Society in Economics, is the world’s largest economics undergraduate honorary society. Membership in the society, which recognizes your academic achievements in economics also grants eligibility to apply for ODE scholarships and an online subscription to The American Economist, the economics journal of ODE. The minimum requirements for admission to the UConn Chapter: “Alpha of Connecticut” for undergraduates are:
- A declared Economics Major
- Have completed a minimum of 12 upper-level (2000+) credit hours of economics courses, including both Intermediate courses: ECON 2201 or 2211Q and 2202 or 2212Q
- Attained of a Major GPA of 3.0 or better
- Attained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
To Apply: Complete the UConn-Membership-form and submit it to the Economics Department Oak 309 or email it to email@example.com. If you meet the UConn Chapter minimum requirements you will be emailed instructions for membership and submitting your $40 membership fee.
