Bio: Professor Naknoi joined the Department of Economics at UConn in 2012. Her research fields are international macroeconomics and monetary economics. Her current research topics are international risk sharing, real exchange rate fluctuations, and international business cycles. She has been a Research Associate at the Center for International Price Research at Vanderbilt University. She taught at Purdue University and was a visiting scholar at the following institutions: the Institute of Social Science at the University of Tokyo; the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; the International Monetary Fund; and the Asian Development Bank Institute. She is a member of the American Economic Association, the Society for Economic Dynamics, and the Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University.
