Suggested Course Sequences

Below are suggested course sequences. They are not comprehensive and the major allows for much flexibility. Please consult with an advisor if you have questions or to discuss your particular course plan.

 

First and Second Semesters for First Year Students: 

First Semester:

ECON 1201 or 1202 3 credits
STAT 1000Q or 1100Q (4 credits)

or MATH 1071Q or 1131Q (3-4 credits)

Both calc and stats are required for the major but recommended to take one at a time.

3-4 credits
ENGL 1007 or Gen Ed if ENGL 1007 is full or you have ENGL writing fulfilled 4 credits
General Education Requirement or Language if needed 3-4 credits
UNIV 1800 (optional but encouraged for all incoming students) 1 credit

                                     14-16 Credits              

Second Semester:

ECON 1201 or 1202 3 credits
STAT 1000Q or 1100Q (4 credits)

or MATH 1071Q or 1131Q (3-4 credits)
