Peer Advisors (PAs) are current upper-level undergraduate Economics majors who have been trained to understand and advise on degree requirements and University resources. They play a vital role in advising at our office, and undergraduate Economics majors can meet with one of them during drop-in hours. They have a variety of experiences including student groups, studying abroad, internships, and other leadership positions.

What I Love Most about Economics: I love that learning economics has changed the perspective from which I view the world. I really enjoy being able to apply an analytical lens to current events to explain trends and occurrences in the real world.

What I Love Most about Economics: Economics gives us the framework to understand the world around us, and the tools to create change to improve it. I love learning about how to apply economic theory to real world issues, whether it be something as small as my optimal choice for dinner, or something as large as national monetary policy affecting millions.

What I Love Most about Economics: What I love most about economics is how flexible and practical it is. Economics helps explain how people, businesses, and governments make decisions with limited resources, making it relevant to almost every aspect of life. I also enjoy that it can be applied to many different fields, from finance and business to public policy and technology.

What I Love Most about Economics: I really love how multifaceted economics is. It feels like I can talk about anything with anyone and be able to connect it back to things that I've learned. Economics touches everything else in the world and makes it make sense!
