Peer Academic Assistant

Our Peer Academic Assistants are current upper level undergraduate Economics majors. They play a vital role in assisting with advising to our undergraduate students.  You may also meet with one of them during their open walk in hours!  They are highly trained and very knowledgeable students who all have a variety of experiences in student groups, studying abroad, internships, and leadership opportunities.

Walk In Advising Hours:

Mon: 10-4:30

Tues: 9:45-10:45; 1-4:30

Wed: 11-4:30

Thurs: 8:30-9:30, 1-4:30

Fri: 10-2

What I Love Most about Economics: I love feeling a strong sense of community and support whenever I visit the department. Professors and advisors are always ready to help with any questions and offer their insights to further develop your career plans. I have experienced immense academic and personal growth during my years at UConn and I am thankful to the Economics department for playing a big part in my growth.
