Peer Academic Assistant

Our Peer Academic Assistants are current upper level undergraduate Economics majors. They play a vital role in assisting with advising to our undergraduate students.  You may also meet with one of them during their open walk in hours!  They are highly trained and very knowledgeable students who all have a variety of experiences in student groups, studying abroad, internships, and leadership opportunities.

Drop In Advising Hours:

What I Love Most about Economics: I love economics because it is extremely multifaceted in that it can be used to explain individuals and the choices they make, and on a broader scale help with decision-making for businesses and governments.
Fun Fact About Me: I have two dogs- a black lab and a husky!

Annelise Montuori

Involvement at UConn: Member of the Business Connections Learning Community (BCLC) for my first two years at UConn in which I held the positions of Floor Mentor, Bloomberg Specialist, and Women in Business Committee Co-Head, attended the BCLC Abroad trip to Germany in May 2022, participated in two case competitions: one with Target and one in conjunction with the University of Mannheim
What I Love Most about Economics: I love how economics correlates with business, explains decision making and optimization, and gives a better understanding of how the world works.
Fun Fact About Me: I've traveled to 13 states and 4 countries.
