Bio: Professor Naknoi’s research fields are international macroeconomics and monetary economics. Her current research topics are exchange rate fluctuations, international capital flows, and the military’s firms in Thailand. She has been a Research Associate at the Center for International Price Research at Vanderbilt University. She taught at Purdue University and held a visiting position at Hitotsubashi University, the University of Tokyo, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the International Monetary Fund, and the Asian Development Bank Institute. She is a member of the American Economic Association, the Society for Economic Dynamics, and the Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University.
