Bachelor of Arts

A Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics is a flexible degree that emphasizes social sciences. It prepares graduates for various careers, including public administration, business, government, international relations, law and more. Students looking to pursue a graduate degree may find themselves in programs in law, public policy, or business administration.

Bachelor of Science

A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics is a highly technical and quantitative STEM program. It equips graduates with the skills for careers in finance, business, trade, and law. This program also serves as preparation for graduate programs in economics, data analysis, programming, and other related fields.

Minor

For students majoring in business, mathematics, data science, and related fields, pursuing an economics minor only requires a few additional courses. This minor enhances your job market credentials and equips you with valuable quantitative and analytical skills.

Accelerated Undergraduate to Graduate Program

This program is designed for highly motivated students who wish to complete both a bachelor's and master's degree in Economics in five semesters. Students begin taking graduate-level courses while still completing their undergraduate degree, effectively overlapping the two programs.

Economics Tutoring

The Department employs accomplished students as peer tutors for all students taking principle and intermediate courses. The service is free and aims to create an approachable learning environment where all students feel comfortable seeking help. Learn more about tutoring.
