The Economics Advising Office helps students navigate our academic programs, plan their studies, and connect with resources at UConn. Our advising team consists of both professional staff academic advisors and student peer advisors. Students can utilize these advising options in-person by drop-in or appointment, virtually by appointment, or via email.
More About Advising
Students are assigned an academic advisor in Student Admin when they declare Economics as a major. Students enrolled in the Honors Program are also assigned to Professor Metin Coşgel or Professor Thomas Miceli.
Drop-In Advising
Drop-in advising has ended for the Fall semester and will resume in the Spring of 2026.
Students can meet with our peer advisors during the Spring and Fall semester without an appointment. Just arrive in Herbst Hall 309 during drop-in hours.
